Michael Gulotta, Esq.

Michael Gulotta, Esq., is a highly accomplished Senior Associate at SP Law with a proven track record in securing favorable outcomes for his clients. He specializes in high-value, complex motor vehicle collision and premises liability cases. Michael aggressively pursues claims against insurance companies and actively litigates these claims in courts across New York. Michael brings a wealth of diverse legal experience to his role.

Prior to joining SP Law, Michael ran his own law practice focusing on personal injury and real estate matters for 7 years. After his father, Anthony J. Gulotta, passed away in 2019, Michael left his position as a Senior Court Attorney in New York State Supreme Court to take over his father’s law practice. As a Senior Court Attorney, Michael was responsible for researching and drafting opinions for the Supreme Court Justices of New York State Civil Court on a variety of legal issues. These opinions were reviewed and adopted by the Supreme Court Justices, which would later become New York State case law that many attorneys now use in their own practices.

Before joining the New York State court system, Michael worked as an Attorney for the Child in New York State Family Court. In this role, Michael was charged with fighting for the best interests of the his clients, children who were entangled in serious legal issues ranging from sexual abuse, neglect, custody battles, and immigration guardianship proceedings. He would also routinely defend children involved in juvenile delinquency and persons-in-need of supervision proceedings.

Michael Gulotta’s career has provided him real world in-court experience that he now uses to make sure that all of his clients are taken care of. His education and background has also taught him how to really listen to clients, and try to provide them with the emotional support they need to ease the toll of the legal process. Michael is conversation in Italian and loves to play the piano.
